PLAY, a cultural program to promote game-based learning to youth and educators.
In the course of the 2013 WISE – World Innovation Summit for Education Summit, we created a global program aiming to introduce game-based learning (GBL) innovations to youth and educators.
Designed in collaboration with GBL expert Katie Salen from the Institute of Play, and with design collective Trafik, the program consisted in:
- a selection highlighting some of the most interesting examples of game-based learning applications from around the world,
- a series of educational activities (lecture and workshops) hosted in collaboration with Virginia Commonwealth University – Qatar,
- a public art interactive installation reflecting the full potential of game-based learning.
